Week 2: Creation of the Wall Segment.

Week Two Side and Front Blueprint for Wall Segment During week two, I began to devise a blueprint and model for the Japanese wall segment, which will be used to encapsulate the other garden elements. I realised however, that this method of blueprinting was actually too long of a step to take in the production process, so I surmised to use it only for the wall asset. This blueprint was made in Adobe Photoshop. Final Wall Segment Model Once the blueprint was complete, I began work on the wall itself. The blueprint helped me to map out the tiles and the other individual elements of the wall. By the end of the week, this was complete.

Week 1: Moodboard and Concepts

Week One Mood-board for asset pack To begin this project, I created a mood-board that fuelled my inspiration. I wanted my asset pack to be themed around a Japanese garden. I created a list of items I wanted to build for the pack:  Torii gate.  Toro lamps (2 variations).  Bamboo water feature (2 variations) . Exterior Wall. Exterior Wall Water Passage. Exterior Wall Corner Segment. Bridge. Pagoda. Gazebo. Bench. Entrance gate. White-box for the garden The following step was to begin producing a white-box for the level, using Unity 2019. This helped for visualising proportions and helped define the scope of what could be done with the designs.
